The health care industry is about to get a huge boom in Houston and Capital Realty Group’s Principals Cece Garrett and Brant Widener, along with Associate Daniel Hollek, recently sponsored Bisnow’s Healthcare Real Estate Summit. Commercial real estate in Houston is about to get a boost from these long-term investments.

relating to the health care industry; the largest of which being a 1.5 billion dollar development program to create a 65-bed Pearland Hospital and a 70 million dollar expansion of its Katy Hospital. There will also be development on its second 100k SF medical plaza on the campus.

Ultimately, there were several projects discussed at the summit, with the intention of overhauling the infrastructure of Houston’s commercial real estate as it pertains to health care. As the sponsors of the event at 6655 Travis, Cece, Brant and Daniel were elated to find Houston’s commercial real estate sector to be growing rapidly. On a more light-hearted note, Cece and Brant were delighted to share the news of their children becoming employed. Afterwards, they mentioned their combined efforts to sign a 42k SF 10-year renewal to the University of Texas. With 32k available on the property, Cece has observed a considerable increase in activity there.
